Curves

templates, originally uploaded by Form<->Function.

I just finished off a couple of new templates this evening.

I made a spin template for the 9′6″ longboard. A spin template has a half side of the board on each of its sides, so you can make a long template out of a shorter piece of masonite and save some space on storing them as well. I think I’ll be converting a bunch of my existing templates to spin ones for those reasons as well as the fact that it will allow me to mix different curves from different templates to come up with new shapes.

The other one is a template for a 6′10″ Diamond tail, which I will be shortly using to try out a 5-fin Bonzer style board.

I’ll finish that one up in the next few weeks, as I am also on the lookout for a new shop space. I am looking to cut my costs a bit with a smaller space. If anyone knows of a decently priced space in the neighbourhood of 500 square feet let me know.
